Ingredients

FIRST LAYER
1 box yellow cake mix
1 - egg
1 stick butter
SECOND LAYER
2 cups miniature marshmallows
THIRD LAYER
2/3 cup corn syrup
1 stick butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
12 ounces peanut butter chips
2 cups salted peanuts
2 cups rice krispies

How To Make payday bars

Step 1

Crumble together cake mix, egg, and 1 stick of melted butter. Press into ungreased 13x9 pan and then bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Step 2

In a saucepan heat the corn syrup, 1 stick of butter, vanilla and peanut butter chips. When melted, stir in 2 cups each salted peanuts and rice krispies.
Step 3

When cake is removed from oven, cover with 2 cups miniature marshmallows, then cover with saucepan mixture. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate, covered. Cut into bars and serve.
