Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons kanten (agar-agar) powder
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/4 cups orange juice
- 1 - orange, peeled and sectioned
How To Make orange kanten (japanese dessert)

Step 1In a medium saucepan, combine water and kanten powder on medium-heat and bring to a boil to dissolve the powder, stirring well.

Step 2Turn the heat down to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, add in the sugar and turn off the heat.

Step 3Add in the orange juice and stir well.

Step 4Place orange slices in individual jelly molds or glass bowls and pour the jelly mixture over the orange slices.

Step 5Refrigerate until set.
