Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 12 teaspoons honey

How To Make nun's puffs with honey

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Generously grease 12 muffin cups, including the edges and around the top; set aside.
  • Step 2
In a medium saucepan, melt butter; add milk. Bring to a boil.
  • Step 3
Add flour all at once, stirring vigorously.
  • Step 4
Cook and stir until the mixture forms a ball that does not separate. Remove from heat; cool for 5 minutes. Very important to let it cool.
  • Step 5
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating with a wooden spoon after each addition.
  • Step 6
    Mix until smooth.
  • Step 7
Divide the dough evenly among prepared muffin cups, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  • Step 8
    Sprinkle with sugar.
  • Step 9
Bake about 30 minutes or until golden and puffy.
  • Step 10
Allow to cool for 5 minutes and then remove from the pan.
  • Step 11
Drizzle each with about 1 tsp of honey. Serve immediately.
