Ingredients
- 5 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 can 12-oz. can evaporated milk
- 1 cup half and half
- 3 tablespoons instant coffee granules
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- whipped cream
- a sprinkle of unsweetened cocoa powder or ground cinnamon - your choice
How To Make my favorite coffee flan

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Place eggs, sugar, milk, half and half, coffee granules and vanilla in a blender and blend until well mixed and smooth.

Step 2Prepare 6 custard cups and divide mixture evenly in each. Place custard cups in a pan and add hot water to the pan halfway up the cups. Be careful not to splash water into the custards!

Step 3Bake custards for 45 to 60 minutes or until the centers are firm but still jiggle a little. Test with a knife inserted into the middle - do not overbake.

Step 4Remove cups and chill for 2 hours. Dollop each with whipped cream and sprinkle with coca powder or cinnamon.
