I do not have a picture to add of these little cupcakes, sorry. These are like little jewels! Everyone knows stories about horrible fruitcakes but I can assure you that everyone will love these. Made with Grand Marnier, fruit and nuts, these jewels are purely fantastic. Try them.

Many! Makes 7 dozen
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound red candies cherries, chopped
- 1/2 pound green candies cherries, chopped
- 1 pound candied pineapple, chopped
- 3 tablespoons grand marnier
- 4 cups chopped pecans
- 1 pound chopped dates
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup self-rising flour
How To Make mini fruitcake cupcakes

Step 1Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Pour liqueur over fruit, cover and marinate overnight.

Step 2Add pecans and dates to fruit mixture, stir well. Combine eggs and sugar, stir in flour.

Step 3Spoon 1 heaping tablespoon of batter into well-greased 1 3/4 inch muffin pans. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
