Yummy recipe for marzipan! Quick and easy! Marzipan can be used to make just about anything you can imagine! Can be used to cover cakes or just eat plain!

Have used this recipe alot another one from my college pastry book!




Here is an easy fast recipe for making your own almond paste

1 pound blanched almonds
3 cups powder sugar
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 pinch of salt

Grind almonds in a blender. Thoroughly mix in confectioners sugar. Beat egg whites slightly, then stir into the almond mixture. Add almond extract, using your hands to blend the heavy mixture.

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine almond paste and corn syrup together
  2. Slowly add powder sugar little at a time
  3. knead all ingredients
  4. add coloring of choice
  5. wrap in plastic wrap and store in airtight container
