Ingredients

  • DOUGH
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • FILLING
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked
  • GLAZE
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

How To Make maple bacon cinnamon rolls

  • Step 1
Pre heat oven to 400 degrees. Combine all ingredients for the filling in a small bowl and mix.
  • Step 2
In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in softened butter then add milk. Knead the dough then roll out on a floured surface about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Step 3
Spread filling on the rolled out dough. Crumbled the cooked bacon and sprinkle on top of filling. Rollup the dough then cut into 12 pieces with a sharp knife. I used 2 pie pans and sprayed cooking spray before I placed the rolls in them. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Add glaze and serve.
