This is my grandmother's recipe, she loves them! I make them every year now for her, even though she can only have a couple, lol.

Ingredients

1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup pecans, crushed
2 tablespoons cocoa, unsweetened
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/4 cup bourbon
- additional powdered sugar, for coating

How To Make mamaw's bourbon balls

Step 1

Mix together first 6 ingredients, adding additional bourbon if needed to make a sticky but firm dough.

Step 2

Roll dough into balls, and roll in additional powdered sugar.
Step 3

Store in airtight container until ready to serve, at least overnight.
