This recipe comes from my mama, Joyce Craig. I believe she found it in one of Sister Schubert's cook books but neither she nor I can say for sure.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups self rising flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons baking cocoa
- 2 cups boiling water
How To Make mama's chocolate cobbler

Step 1Put butter in long casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees until butter is melted.

Step 2Mix 1 1/4 C sugar, then flour, then vanilla, then milk in bowl.

Step 3Pour over melted butter. DO NOT STIR.

Step 4Mix 1 C sugar & cocoa in bowl. Sprinkle over batter. DO NOT STIR.

Step 5Pour boiling water on top. DO NOT STIR. Bake 30-45 minutes or until golden brown.
