These taste like Almond Joys.
They mix up easily.
You can substitute dark chocolate Chips for the regular chocolate chips.
You can also add butterscotch chips to the chocolate chips or exchange toffee bits in place of chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    (1 stick) margarine (not lite)
  • 1 1/2 c
    grahm cracker crumbs
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk( not evap)
  • 1 pkg
    (6 oz) chocolate chips
  • 1 can(s)
    (3-1/2oz)flaked coconut
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts

How to Make Magic Cookie Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. In a 9" X 13" pan, melt butter. Remove from heat.
    Sprinkle crumbs over margarine.
    Pour sweetened condensed milk over crumbs.
    Top with Chocolate chips,coconut & nuts.
    Press down gently.
  2. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool. Cut into 3x 1-1/2" bars.
