A great treat for the kids and adults. They are a great hit for parties and events. I've made different flavors like triple chocolate, strawberry cheesecake and even smores!! Let your mind go WILD!!!

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 box any type of cake mix
1/2 can of any type of frosting
candy melts
candy sprinkles
lollipop sticks
styrofoam block

How to Make Lizzy's Lollicakes

Step-by-Step

  • 1cook cake mix as directed and let cool
  • 2after cake is cooled, crumble cake into small fine pieces and add 1/2 can of frosting
  • 3mix with your hands until well corporated
  • 4shape into small balls and put on sheet pan and freeze for about an hour
  • 5while that is freezing, put candy melts in a bowl with a pan of water underneath. Make sure that the water is not touching the bowl. cook on low heat till candy is melted
  • 6take cakes out of freezer and take a lolli stick and dip into candy and insert cake ball into the stick. Dip into melted chocolate and tap lightly on stick to get excess candy off
  • 7insert candy on a styrofoam block to cool
  • 8Enjoy!!!
