Great using lime, orange, or lemon jello. A cool summer dessert jello. Can use fat free whipped topping like Coolwhip and sugar free jello to cut calories without sacrificing taste.

Ingredients For lime chiffon jello

  • 1 can
    crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 lg
    lime jello (can use orange or lemon)
  • 2 c
  • 1 lg
    cool whip

How To Make lime chiffon jello

    Mix jello and pineapple with juice. Bring to a boil on stove top or place in microwave on high for 5 minutes stirring until dissolved. Then refrigorate until it begins to set up about 45 minutes.

    Remove from refrigerator. Add buttermilk and stir until will mixed. Add Cool whip and stir until well blended. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch glass pan and refrigorate until set about 3-4 hours.
