This originally came from a Strawberry Triffle recipe I used to make. I've lost the recipe, but started making this topping for different dessert dishes. It's not very heavy.

Ingredients

  • 2 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups heavy whipping cream (i use 2 small cartons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract, optional
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice

How To Make light whipping cream

  • Step 1
Whip with hand mixer until heavy whipping cream is fluffy.
  • Step 2
In seperate bowl, add other ingredients and whip until mixed. Sometimes I only use vanilla extract, but I occasionally will add the almond, too. Either way is good.
  • Step 3
Fold the mix into the whipping cream. (Sometimes I cheat and whip them together!) Add more sugar to taste if you like it a little heavier. I'm sure this can be cut in half, but I tend to make larger batches. Enjoy!!!!
