  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup boiling water

How To Make lemon sauce ( for bread pudding )

  • Step 1
    Combine sugar salt and cornstarch in sauce pan , add boiling water
  • Step 2
    Cook stirring constantly until mixture is thickened and clear . Stir in lemon peel , lemon juice and butter
  • Step 3
    serve warm over bread pudding or other desert .
