This is a very rich cheesecake. Only small pieces are needed.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons + 1 1/2 tsp instant coffee granuals
  • 1 tablespoon boiling water
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 32 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 12 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons butter

How To Make layered mocha cheesecake (death by chocolate)

  • Step 1
    Combine cookie crumbs and butter.
  • Step 2
    Press into bottom of greased 9x13 pan
  • Step 3
    In a small bowl combine coffee, water, and cinnamon - Set aside.
  • Step 4
    In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and flour until smooth
  • Step 5
    Add eggs; beat on low just until combined.
  • Step 6
    Stir in vanilla.
  • Step 7
    Divide batter in half
  • Step 8
    Stir melted chocolate into 1/2 of the batter
  • Step 9
    Pour chocolate batter over the cookie crust
  • Step 10
    Stir coffee mixture into the remaining batter
  • Step 11
    Spoon coffee mixture over the chocolate layer
  • Step 12
    Wrap foil around pan
  • Step 13
    Place on a large baking pan and add 1" hot water
  • Step 14
    Bake at 325 until center is just set and top apprears dull
  • Step 15
    Remove pan from water bath.
  • Step 16
    Cool on wire rack for 10 minute
  • Step 17
    Cool 1 hour then refrigerate over night
  • Step 18
    In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter
  • Step 19
    Stir until smooth
  • Step 20
    Spread over cheesecake
  • Step 21
    Serve
