Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 4 - eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons crisco shortening (not butter flavor)
- 1/4 cup water
How To Make lainie's strufflers

Step 1Sift flour.

Step 2Mix eggs in blender.

Step 3Melt sugar and shortening in water in pot. Cool off and add to eggs. Add to flour.

Step 4Knead dough and roll into a snake. Pinch off small pieces and fry in crisco (not butter flavor). Fry till very golden so that you cook the inside. Don't make balls to big because they puff up. Drain on paper towels.

Step 5Before serving warm the honey and pour over strufflers and with big spoon stir till well coated.
