How to Make Kringle
1Preheat oven 450.
Bring water, butter, salt , and almond extract to a boil...
2Let cool slightly...Add flour and mix well
3Add eggs one at a time making sure each egg gets mixed in well.
4Spread out onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment or sprayed with cooking spray. I do mine in a circle or you can do it in one long piece, about 1/2 inch thick.
5Bake for 15 min at 450 ...DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR!
Then turn over down and bake at 325 for 35 min. STILL DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR.
6Once out of the oven let cool slightly and using a fork poke holes in it.
7Mix well frosting ingredients.
8Once it has cooled but still warm top with butter cream frosting and slivered almonds.
