- 2 - eggs
- 2 pounds flour
- 1/2 pound shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup logan david wine
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- - cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons vanilla

Step 1Combine flour, sugar and shortening. Blend manually until finely mixed. Make a well in the center and combine eggs, wine, vinegar and vanilla. Sprinkle cinnamon over mixture and blend all together well. Roll into two inch balls and roll out to the size of a ladies handkerchief, cut with ravioli cutter. Place dough around a cannoli form. Seal edges with a little water. Deep fry in vegetable oil until golden. Fill with custard or custard and ricotta filling. Garnish ends with cherries and finely ground pistachio nuts.
