Ingredients For irish coffee blondies

  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    ground coffee (preferably freshly ground)
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pinch
    pinch salt
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    sliced almonds
  • GLAZE:
  • 1 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    irish whiskey
  • 3/4 c
    confectioners sugar

How To Make irish coffee blondies

    Melt the butter and set aside to cool slightly. In one bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, coffee, salt, eggs, and vanilla.

    Pour the melted butter into the sugar mixture, and stir. Add the flour mixture, and stir until just combined.

    Pour the batter into a 9×13 pan that has been lined with parchment paper and sprayed with cooking spray.

    Sprinkle the sliced almonds all over the top of the blondies. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 27 to 30 minutes. Let cool completely.

    Make the glaze by whisking together butter, whiskey, and powdered sugar. Drizzle glaze all over the blondies. Let sit for 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve.
