I could never find the forms to make the shells so this was a way to skip that step.

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange rind
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 8-10 - sugar ice cream cones

How To Make ice cream cone cannoli

  • Step 1
    With a wooden spoon mix ricotta, powdered sugar, (orange rind,) and vanilla until smooth. Add the chips and stir until evenly blended.
  • Step 2
    Cover and refrigerate for an hour.
  • Step 3
    Keep mixture into fridge until you are ready to use it!
  • Step 4
    Spoon mixture into ice cream cone.Serve.
  • Step 5
    If you wish to make your cones look like the picture,melt 1 cup chocolate chips and dip cones in chocolate (I also like to coat inside the cones.)Roll chocolate dipped cone in chopped nuts.
