I could never find the forms to make the shells so this was a way to skip that step.

Ingredients

  • 15 oz
    part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp
    orange rind
  • 1/4 c
    mini chocolate chips
  • 8-10
    sugar ice cream cones

How to Make Ice Cream Cone Cannoli

Step-by-Step

  1. With a wooden spoon mix ricotta, powdered sugar, (orange rind,) and vanilla until smooth. Add the chips and stir until evenly blended.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for an hour.
  3. Keep mixture into fridge until you are ready to use it!
  4. Spoon mixture into ice cream cone.Serve.
  5. If you wish to make your cones look like the picture,melt 1 cup chocolate chips and dip cones in chocolate (I also like to coat inside the cones.)Roll chocolate dipped cone in chopped nuts.
