Everytime we have a function, I'm asked to make the Gingerbread.

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup mozola oil
- 1 cup grandma's molasses
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 2 teaspoons ginger (you can add more if you want)
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 cups flour
How To Make hot water gingerbread

Step 1Boil water, turn down low until ready to use.

Step 2In a separate bowl mix all dry ingredients together, except baking soda.

Step 3Mix oil, brown sugar, molasses & eggs until well blended

Step 4Gradually add dry ingredients, scraping sides of bowl enuring all is blended

Step 5Carefully add baking soda to hot water (will foam up). Turn mixer down to lowest speed, slowly add hot water, a little at a time. Batter will be watery

Step 6Bake in greased (Pam - Baking Spray) loaf pan @ 325 degrees for 45mins. (I use 3sml/2lrge laof pans)
