- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons cold butter;diced
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts;optional
- 2 tablespoons honey
How To Make honey butter scones

Step 1In blender or food processor mix flour,sugar,cream of tartar,baking soda and salt until blended.Add butter and mix till resembles coarse meal.

Step 2Put in bowl and make a well in the center of mixture.Pour milk and honey into well.

Step 3Stir to form a soft dough and add walnuts.

Step 4Press dough into 1/2 thick round on a floured surface. Cut into 8 wedges like cutting a pie.

Step 5Put wedges onto greased baking sheet and bake 15 minutes until golden at 400 degrees.
