These are very easy and the taste is great;so fresh.

Ingredients

  • 1 box refrigerated pie crust or your own pie crust recipe
  • 1/4 cup preserves if your favorite flavor
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • - decorative icing or sprinkles(optional)

How To Make homemade poptarts

  • Step 1
    Unroll piecrust and with a knife square off edges.
  • Step 2
    Cut into 12 rectangles; 2" wide x 3" long.
  • Step 3
    Place a teaspoon of preserves in center of 6 rectangles and top with remaining rectangles.
  • Step 4
    Using a fork crimp the edges and place on greased cookie sheet.
  • Step 5
    Unroll second pie crust and repeat process. Bake 7-9 minutes till golden brown.
  • Step 6
    Stir together confectioners sugar and milk till its like thick syrup. Spoon glaze over poptarts and sprinkle with sprinkles.
