Makes about 13 ounces (1 1/2 cups) of almond paste
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups blanched whole almonds
- 1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make home-made almond paste

Step 1Grind almonds, a portion at a time, in an electric blender or food chopper using a fine blade.

Step 2Combine with remaining ingredients and work into a stiff paste.

Step 3Store in an airtight container or a disposable plastic bag,
