I have no idea who came up with the name for this but the school I went to made these. ALL the kids loved them and now my kids go to the same school and they love them too!

Ingredients

1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups smooth peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
TOPPING
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
8 ounces milk chocolate chips

How To Make hollywood squares

Step 1

For bottom: Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl. Pat by hand onto a lightly greased jelly roll pan.

Step 2

For topping: Melt chocolate over low heat. Add butter as chocolate begins to melt. Spread over peanut butter layer. Chill, then cut into squares.
