I got this recipe many years ago and whenever I'm asked to bring dessert, this is the most requested.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 - egg beaten
  • 8 ounces crushed pineapple drained
  • 1 cup coconut

How To Make hawaiian bars

  • Step 1
    Mix with a fork flour, powdered sugar and butter and press into 9x9 ungreased pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over crust. Sprinkle coconut over the top. Bake at 350 for an additional 15 minutes.
