- 200 grams khoya(evaporated milk)
- 40 grams all purpose flour
- 1/3 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 20 grams mawa( paneer)
- 500 grams sugar
- 3 teaspoons rose water
- oil for frying
How To Make gulab jamun recipe

Step 1Mix sugar with 500 ml water in a deep vessel pan and boil on medium heat flame to make sugar syrup. Stir continuously till the sugar dissolves.

Step 2When the sugar syrup thicken to light sticky remove and mix with rose water.

Step 3Grate the evaporated milk and mix with flour, nutmeg powder, baking powder. Make a soft palpable dough.

Step 4Now divide the dough into small equal size parts and roll in between the palm of hand to make a round shaped ball.

Step 5Repeat with the remaining and make balls.

Step 6Heat oil or ghee in a pan on low flame heat. When the oil become hot and fry the balls till crisp golden for about 8 - 10 minutes.

Step 7Drain and soaked in sugar syrup for 2 - 3 hours.

Step 8Serve topping with some nuts.
