This was one of my favorites that my great grandma made every Christmas when I was little.
This is pretty rich. Smaller slices are better.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    graham crackers, crushed
  • 1 pkg
    dates, chopped-my family runs them through a food grinder for a finer consistency
  • 1 can(s)
    evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg
    miniature marshmallows

How to Make Grandma Stephens' Date Loaf

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix dates, 1/2 the bag of marshmallows & graham cracker crumbs together in large bowl. Add milk until moistened and can be shaped. Turn out onto wax paper & form into 2 logs. It will be sticky. Wrap each log in plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 12 hours. Slice & serve.
