This rice pudding takes a while, but is well worth the wait! It comes out creamy and delicious! I often sneak a bowl straight from the stove.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 quarts milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make grandma debbie's rice pudding

  • Step 1
    In a large pot bring water, rice and butter to a boil
  • Step 2
    Add milk, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook for 1 1/2 hours stirring every 15 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat and add eggs, sugar and vanilla.
  • Step 4
    Pour into a large bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon, refrigerate until cool and enjoy!
