This rice pudding recipe has been handed down through the family for generations. It is rich, creamy and delicious. It makes a big batch, so I usually plan on some for gifting to friends.

Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1/2 cup butter
- 8 cups milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- cinnamon
How To Make grandma debbie's rice pudding

Step 1In a large pot bring water, rice and butter to a boil.

Step 2Add 8 cups (2 quarts) of milk and return to a boil. Reduce to low and continue to cook for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.

Step 3Remove from heat and add 4 eggs, 1 1/3 cups of sugar and vanilla.

Step 4Pour into large bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon, refrigerate and enjoy!
