bread flour
1/4 c
3/4 tsp
2 Tbsp
egg, room temperature
1/2 c
warm milk
1/2 c
warm water


1/4 c
butter, melted
3 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
brown sugar
1/4 c
chopped nuts
1 Tbsp
ground cinnamon


1 c
confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp
butter, melted
1/4 tsp
maple extract
2 Tbsp
hot coffee

How to Make Grandma Cinnamon Rolls


  • 1Place ingredients into pan in the order listed.
  • 2Select manual or dough setting.
  • 3After the machine has completed the second rising, it will beep.
  • 4On a lightly floured surface, roll or pat to 12"x9" rectangle.
  • 5Brush with melted butter.
  • 6Combine sugars, nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough.
  • 7Starting with shorter side, roll up tightly.
  • 8Pinch edge to seal.
  • 9Cut into 12 slices.
  • 10Place on greased 13"x9" pan.
  • 11Or cut 9 slices, throw away the two end pieces and place in 9" round pan, with one in the middle and the rest arranged around the outside.
  • 12Cover; let rise in a warm place until almost double in volume, (about 30 minutes).
  • 13Preheat oven to 375.
  • 14Bake 20-25 minutes.
  • 15To prepare glaze, combine sugar, melted butter, maple extract and hot coffee.
  • 16Blend until smooth.
  • 17Drizzle over hot rolls.
