Stephanie says a patient,Gina gave her this recipe over 30 years ago and they became good friends.Even after Gina moved back to Italy, they would write & exchange recipes. One day,her son called to tell Stephanie his Mother passed away and to Thank her for their friendship. Stephanie says she doubles the glaze and glazes all the drops because she prefers glazed doughnuts also because the doughnuts aren't very sweet, the glaze sweetens them a bit.
