This is a quick easy version of a german chocolate cake...I didnt have all day to bake one and make the homemade coconut pecan frosting..so this is what i came up with ..enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick
    melted butter
  • 1 box
    pillsbury chocolate fudge brownie mix
  • 1
    container coconut pecan frosting
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk chocolate chips
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1
    container whipped topping

How to Make German Chocolate Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350*

    Pour melted butter in the bottom of a glass 9x13 baking dish, Sprinkle entire brownie mix over butter.

    Dollop the coconut pecan frosting all over the brownie mix, Sprinkle all the chocolate chips over the frosting,
  2. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the chocolate chips, Place in oven

    Bake 35 min. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Cut into 12 bars, and serve with a dollop of whipped topping
