This has been a "secret" family recipe until now!

yield Frosts one 9" layer cake or lots of graham crackers

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter, soften
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon real vanilla
  • 1 box sifted powderd sugar or until stiff enough to spread
  • 1/3 cup boiling water

How To Make fudge frosting--lyn*

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
    Using mixer on low speed blend ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Turn mixer to high and beat until fluffy.
  • Step 4
    FROSTS: 9x13" cake 9" layer cake Angel cake (whole, or in 2 or 3 layers) GRAHAM CRACKER SANDWICHES (yummy! kids of all ages love these)
