On a whim I decided to learn how to make fry bread. It is a lot easier than I thought it would be and it is absolutely awesome

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder, heaping
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4-1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4-1/2 cup warm water
How To Make fry bread

Step 1In a large bowl, combine he dry ingredients.

Step 2Stir in oil and water to flour mixture, stirring with a fork. Add enough flour to make a soft dough.

Step 3In the bowl, knead the dough until it is no longer sticky and the dough is stiff. Let the dough rest covered with a wet paper towel for 25-30 minutes.

Step 4Pull off dough pieces about the size of a large goalf ball. Pull and flatten dough in a round motion until almost transparent. Tear a small hole in the middle.

Step 5In a deep fryer, heat oil to 375*. Fry dough until browned on both sides.

Step 6Drain and cool on a wire rack

Step 7Top with honey and powdered sugar. Serve warm.
