This can be served as a side dish or a dessert. Goes great with Chicken, turkey or even better with brisket.

Ingredients

  • 1 package 8oz bag noodles 1/2 wide
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3-4 - eggs (seperated)
  • 1 stick margarine (melted)
  • 1/2 pound creme cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream (may use light)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2-3/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make fruit noodle kugel

  • Step 1
    Boil noodles following package directions.
  • Step 2
    Rince after draining with hot water.
  • Step 3
    Add butter and mix
  • Step 4
    Cream sugar and margarine thoroughly
  • Step 5
    Add egg yolks, sour cream, cream cheese, lemon juice and vanilla
  • Step 6
    Beat until a whipped consistency
  • Step 7
    Whip egg whites till fluffy and fold into mixture
  • Step 8
    Add raisins to mixture
  • Step 9
    Add noodles to mixture and mix gently
  • Step 10
    Put into greased 9x13 rectangular glass dish
  • Step 11
    Put cinnamon on top
  • Step 12
    Heat for 1/2 hour in perheated 375 degree oven
  • Step 13
    Take out and put cherry topping on
  • Step 14
    Contiune to bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees
  • Step 15
    Let cool for fifteen minutes before serving
