I like to make 1/2 one fruit and the other 1/2 another Mixing Strawberry/rhubarb is a very good way to make this.

  • 3/8 c
    oleo or butter
  • 2 1/4 c
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking powder

  • 3 c
    fruit of your choice drained
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 2 c
    boiling water

How to Make Fruit Cobble


  1. Mix all of cake ingredients and pour into 9 x 13 pan
  2. Cover with fruit/sugar mix. Dap with butter and pour boiling water on top
  3. Bake at 375 for 45 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.
