Growing up my mother would buy Sarah Lee's Banana Cake in a foil pan from the freezer section. This recipe tastes just like it!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter -softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 - medium, ripe bananas mashed = about 1 cup
- FROSTING
- 1 package 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 3/4 - 4 cups powdered sugar
How To Make frosted banana bars

Step 1In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stire in bananas. Spread into a greased jelly roll pan - 15 x 10 x 1. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a rack.

Step 2For Frosting: in a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in enough powdered sugar to achieve desired consistency. When bars are cool frost. Store in refridgerator.
