I found this recipe as a mailer with my electric bill. Sounds good so I thought I would give it a try.

Sounds like a good holiday dish and in my case I just love pumpkin.

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 10 Tbsp
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    pecans or walnuts finely chopped

  • 2 pkg
    8 oz each softened cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    solid pack pumpkin
  • 4
    eggs lightly beaten
  • 3 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    ground allspice
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Electric Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars


  1. combine flour and brown sugar in bowl. Cut in butter, stir in nuts.set aside 1 1/2 c of mixture.
  2. press remaining mixture into bottom of 9x13 pan bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. cool.
  3. combine cream cheese, sugar, pumpkin,eggs,allspice and vanilla in large mixing bowl. blend until smooth.
  4. Pour over baked crust, sprinkle with remaining topping. bake an additional 30-35 minutes.
