This is great for potlucks, unexpected guests, etc. I've had this recipe for years, and continue to get "good reviews" wherever I serve it. Serve with ice cream or cool whip. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 3/4 to 1 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 large can of slice peaches, partially drained

How To Make easy southern peach cobbler

  • Step 1
    Pre heat oven @ 375 degrees
  • Step 2
    In a 2 or 3 quart (round) casserole dish, place a stick of butter/margarine and place in oven until melted.
  • Step 3
    Mix together self-rising flour; sugar, and 1 cup milk. Beat with whisk until blended.
  • Step 4
    Pour above mixture into melted butter in casserole dish. Add canned peaches with about 1/2 juice drained off.
  • Step 5
    Bake @ 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes; until golden brown. Enjoy!
