Now, I love this recipe, BUT----I wish I lived in the south with all the wonderful peaches there, especially Georgia.

Ingredients
- 4 cups peeled, sliced peaches
- 2 cups sugar, divided
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1-1/2 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cup milk
- - ground cinnamon, if desired
How To Make easy peasy peach cobbler

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Combine peaches, 1 cup of the sugar,and the water in a saucepan, bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.

Step 3Put the butter in a 3 quart baking dish and place in the oven to melt.

Step 4Mix remaining 1 cup sugar, the flour and the milk slowly to prevent clumping.

Step 5Pour over the melted butter. Do not stir!

Step 6Spoon the fruit over the top and sprinkle with ground cinnamon, if desired.

Step 7Bake for 30-40 minutes--batter will rise to the top during baking.

Step 8To serve, scoop onto plate and serve with choice of whipped cream or icecream. EASY PEASY!!!
