drumstick (nutty buddy) dessert

Family favorite! Best if frozen then pull out 20-30 minutes before serving; makes it easier to cut. As you can see I didn't chop peanuts for topping (have a picky niece, she picks off nuts) and used chocolate syrup. But this is an easy recipe and you can use vanilla pudding instead and top with caramel sauce.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Nutty Buddy bars are a classic childhood dessert and this recipe really does bring the essence of that flavor to life. This has so many wonderful layers. We love the peanut and waffle cone crust. The hint of peanut butter from the second layer and the richness from the chocolate pudding layer is amazing. Topped off with Cool Whip and Magic Shell really made this dessert over the top.
