How to Make Dewin' Apple Turnovers

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use an 8x8 or 9x9 glass dish. Makes 8 turnovers.
  2. Peel and slice green apples into quarters. Put a quarter of each apple into one crossiant. Fold in half. Press seams together. Place in an 8x8 or 9x9 glass pan.
  3. Melt butter and sugar in pan on stove. Add Mountain Dew. Pour over turnovers. Baste during cooking. Bake until lightly brown.
