How to Make Dessert Ball
- Beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add sugars and beat until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips (and nuts, if using them).
- Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Place onto a large piece of wax paper and shape into a ball, then refrigerate for 1 hour more.
- Serve with graham cracker sticks, Oreo sticks, strawberries ... the possibilities are endless.
*IMPORTANT* - If you want to form it into a ball, you must use real butter. If you would rather use margarine, you can, but it will not form a ball shape no matter how long it stays in the fridge. In that case, you can put it into a bowl and just dip into it with your cookies or fruit. Same taste, just different presentation.
