Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1-1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 package (16 ounce)frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 package (3.9. ounce) instant chocolate or pistachio pudding mix
- 2-1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1In a medium bowl, combine butter, flour and chopped walnuts. Mix, then pat into bottom of 9 X 13 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Allow to cool.

Step 2Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1/2 of the whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. Set back into refrigerator for 10 minutes to set up.

Step 3In a medium bowl, combine chocolate pudding mix with 2 1/2 cups milk. Mix well with hand mixer on low speed and spread over cream cheese mixture. Put back in refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Step 4Spread remaining 1/2 container of whipped topping over pudding. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Step 5Cover and refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
