cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp
sour cream
2 Tbsp
1/8 tsp
3 Tbsp
strawberry jam


1 1/2 c
flour, sifted
2 Tbsp
double acting baking powder
1/2 tsp
1/2 c
2 Tbsp
unsalted butter, melted
1/2 c
1 Tbsp
sugar for sprinkling

How to Make Darla's Strawberry Cheesecake Muffins


  • 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    Grease muffin pans and set aside.
  • 2Beat together first 4 ingredients of cheese filling until smooth and creamy. Swirl in the jam and set aside.
  • 3Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in large mixing bowl. In another mixing bowl lightly beat the egg with a whisk or fork. Mix in melted butter, then milk. Stir in the cheese mixture just to combine. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry and fold with a rubber spatula just enough to moisten the flour mix.
  • 4Spoon into the muffin pan, filling 2/3 full. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan for 2-3 minutes and remove from pan.
