In large bowl of mixer, beat together butter and cream cheese until mixture is
blended. Beat in the egg yolk. Add flour and salt and beat until mixed. Do not
overbeat. Turn dough out onto floured wax paper. Form dough into a circle, wrap
it in the wax paper and refrigerate it for several hours or overnight. Divide
dough in fourths. Roll out one part at a time to measure a 10 inch square.
Spread 1/4 of the Chocolate Quick (see recipe below), over the dough. Sprinkle
with 1/4 of the chocolate chips. Roll up, jelly roll style to measure a 10 x 3
inch roll. Place seam side down on a 12 x 16 inch Teflon coated baking pan.
Repeat with remaining 3 parts dough. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes
or until top is lightly browned. Cool in pan. Cut into slices and sprinkle tops
generously with sifted powdered sugar. Makes 24 to 28 slices
