Well, it was a success and he just loved it! He said, "This is the most unique and creative cake I have ever had!".
Of course we had a discussion about what layer was the least fattening and low calorie, which is the first layer of course. hehe

How to Make Dad's Camo Cake
- Bottom layer I wrapped every other can of beer and placed them in a circle shape. I used 19 cans of beer. I then placed the bungy cords around them. Then, I put tape on the backs of the slim jims and taped one to every beer can.
Middle layer is six cans of Bush beans and I also wrapped every other can and put them on top of bottom layer in a circle. I then took sparkler boxes and taped them on each can.
Top layer and center:
I put the peanuts in the center of second and top layer. Beans went around peanuts.
I wrapped the small cans of chilis and jalapenos on put them on top of the beans.
I opened a box of sparklers and taped them to the peanut jar in center so I could lite them like cake candles. - Made some Frozen Key Lime pie for Father's Day. It is Grandma's recipe and Dad just loves it!
Here is the super easy recipe for pie too.
