I learned to like crepes in Belgium. You can fill them with savory or sweet fillings, whichever you prefer. I even used this recipe for a demonstrative speech! The class paid very close attention, and enjoyed the taste treats also!

How to Make Crepes


  1. Place milk, eggs, butter, salt, sugar and flour in large bowl and beat smooth. Heat oil in fry pan. Pour in a spoonful of batter. Rotate the pan in all directions to cover surface evenly. Tip out excess batter. Cook one minute to lightly brown, then flip and brown other side.
  2. Place a teaspoon of butter on each crepe and serve hot, folded or rolled. Or fill with syrup, jelly or fruit.
  3. Can be chilled and filled with ice cream also.
