My aunt gave me this recipe years ago and it is a big hit at every event I bring it to. The best part is the mix and match pudding options that makes it perfect for everyone.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 4 - eggs
- 3 packages (3.4 oz) instant pudding
- 3 cups milk (divided)
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 package (8oz) container cool whip
- - syrup to garnish as desired
How To Make cream puff dessert

Step 1A word about the pudding; you can mix and match as you see fit. Combinations that work well are one bananna and two vanilla, two chocolate and one vanilla, during the fall I have used two pumpkin spice and one vanilla.

Step 2Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 3Bring water to a boil.

Step 4Add butter to melt. Remove from heat. Add flour and mix well.

Step 5Add eggs one at a time. Beat by hand.

Step 6Pat lightly into greased 10x15 inch pan.

Step 7Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside.

Step 8Mix 1/4 cup milk with cream cheese. Beat until creamy.

Step 9Add remaining milk and pudding. Mix until blended.

Step 10Spread evenly over cooled crust.

Step 11Top with Cool Whip. Drizzle with chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup or carmel sauce as desired.
